At the very end of November, we did two important things. We put up our Christmas Tree and we visited the Giving Machines. The kids were very excited about the tree, of course. And Ruby and Troy had fun dancing in front of it. This girl adores her dad with every fiber of her being. The giving machines in Downtown Gilbert were a sight to see. There were a wide variety of donations for purchase in the vending machines. From diapers, to clean water, to school uniforms and even livestock like chickens, goats, and cows. After donating we were given an "I donated" sticker. Such a great way to feel the Christmas spirit. I was in the area of the giving machines several times while they were open. There was usually a long line of people wanting to donate, which was really cool to see. These giving machines ended up raising $2.3 million dollars world wide. Isn't that incredible?!
