Christmas Day 2018

I lost almost all of my Christmas pictures when I washed my phone. Thankfully, I was able to get some from my mom and sisters so we can still remember Christmas 2018. We felt very blessed to spent Christmas with some of my most favorite people. It was a great day. We opened gifts, played with toys, had a delicious breakfast, watched "The Man Who Invented Christmas," and had a fabulous Christmas Dinner. Delicious food and excellent company! That evening we went to see the new "Mary Poppins" movie. Lindsay got a 1000 piece puzzle for Christmas. With a group effort, we finished it before my fam had to leave. Uncle Aaron agreed to play battleship with Gray even though Gray hasn't mastered the grid system yet. Turns out that's kind of essential to the game. Bless that Uncle Aaron! It was a great holiday.

My Dad sent us "The Christmas Carol" and "The Life of Our Lord" by Charles Dickens. He told me he wanted each of us kids to have a copy of The Christmas Carol because it's one of his favorite books. It is beautifully illustrated. I'm so excited to own this and read it next Christmas! The other book he sent for us to read to the kids as we are studying the New Testament this year. My Dad is so thoughtful. I was so excited to get this happy day gift.
