Labor Day Weekend with the Serafines

Over Labor Day weekend, our friends the Serafines came to visit. We had a mini med school reunion with them and the Teftellers. It was so fun! We had so many kids running around having the time of their lives. We got to visit and laugh and eat good food. The boys all went to the BYU football game in Tuscon for a night. Stacy and I held down the fort at home with the remaining kids. It was a great time, and it went by way too fast. We are so grateful they took the time to come see us before they start their assignment in Bahrain in December. It might be a long time before we see them again, which makes me sad! I still holding out hope we will live near the Serafines again someday. That would be amazing.

September 3, 2018: We had a mini med school reunion this weekend. Check out this Bushman-Serafine-Tefteller lineup. When we started med school in 2009, this pic would have included only 2 kids, now we are up to 13. (We missed our Ashby buddies who were in the hospital having a baby. Their newest little guy brings the total to 17 when adding in the Ashby clan.) So happy we could see the Serafines before they start their Navy assignment overseas. Our goal is to convince/bribe everyone to move back to Arizona for good in a few years.👌🏼
