Clara's Preschool Book

Clara's cute teacher, Miss Chris, made Clara such a cute book documenting her year at preschool. It was full of adorable pictures and fun captions of Clara's time at school and with her preschool buddies. I carefully took the book apart so I could scan it. Here are my favorite pages. The thing I love most about looking through this book is how happy Clara is. You can tell by her expressions in these photos how much she enjoys school. She just thrives there. She has had such a great year. I'm so proud of her.

Ruby One Month

The first month with our sweet Ruby just flew by. It was a busy month of course, but with Troy around the first two weeks it made it quite the nice transition. Also, my mom helped out A TON. And Troy's mom came up to help too. I didn't feel great that first month. To be honest, I didn't start to feel very good until I was two months postpartum.

Despite me not feeling great, and being sleep deprived, I really tried to enjoy that time of Ruby being tiny. It's a learning process for me, but slowly, I'm getting better at enjoying my kids in their stages instead of looking forward to when things will be easier because of x,y, and z. As far as newborns go, I did best at enjoying Ruby. Her being so well mannered definitely helped. She is just so content with our hectic life.

Lastly, pictures of the adorable baby gift my dear friend Stephanie Bramwell sent me after Ruby was born. I just loved it. I couldn't wait to hang the picture in Ruby's room, and that outfit! It was my favorite until she outgrew it. I put her in it every time it was clean. Even multiple times a week. :)

We just can imagine our lives without this sweet baby girl.

Gray lately

Our crazy Gray. We just love him. I was most worried about how Gray would react to adding Ruby to our home. However, Gray just LOVES Ruby. He likes to make sure Ruby has her blanket at all times. And if she cries, he finds her binkie. It's so sweet. He has been laying down by her the last few weeks as pictured. It's just adorable. He is loving his legos and his trains. He is as stubborn as ever and he has the funniest one-liners. He definitely keeps us laughing.

We told Gray it was time to go to bed. He looked out the window and said, "The sun is still working." Yep. And that basically sums up my feelings on daylight savings time: Why?? Why do we do this?? Ha.

Sunday Fort

When Troy got home from church with the three oldest kids, he decided to make a fort with them. How great is that? He is a champion, that husband of mine. Making forts after taking three kids to church by himself. I just love him. And of course, our kids are rather fond of him as well. ;)
