Lovely Logan

For our last night in Utah we went to Logan to visit Aunt Lindsay. I was loving the drive up, like I said before I miss the mountains. Logan was incredibly green. I went a little crazy playing with my mom's camera while we were there.

Jeremy wins the award for most uncomfortable sleeping position. I wish I could have gotten his legs in this picture because he was twisted up so much I don't know how he was even sleeping.

My parents had a wedding reception to go to in Logan, so Jer, Ash, Jackson and I hung out in the parking lot while they went back to the party. That's where I took all these pictures. I thought all the barns and dandelion fields were kind of cool.

Ashley decided (on this night) that blowing all the seeds off a dandelion in one breath would be on her bucket list. She gave a good effort, but she can't cross that one off just yet.

Jackson tried to follow in Ashley's footsteps, but ended up mostly licking the dandelion.

Jack wasn't the biggest fan of sitting in the grass for a photo op. He still doesn't love the texture of it. Notice how his hands are held up by his chest.

We met Lindsay and a couple friends for dinner. We ate at Olive Garden. Yum! Jackson was SO loud. His shrieks were turning heads all around the restaurant, when I was thoroughly embarrassed, we went outside to play. Jackson loved this bench.

Jackson kept giving me kisses while we were playing. His kisses are super wet and slimy. They're the best. :)

Mom's camera has a night setting! A whole new world of possibilities opened up when I discovered this :) Some are kind of blurry since I took them through the window.

Logan Temple.

Logan really is lovely. I don't know if I would survive through a Logan winter (especially now that my blood is thinned to Arizona standards), but it is perfect in the Spring. It was so fun to visit Linds and see your new apartment. Love you lots!

Payson and a little Provo

 

Jackson and I went to Payson to see all the Bushmans while we were in Utah. About a half a mile before the first Payson exit, on the west side of the freeway, there is a billboard advertising Payson city. I just love it. This time it said "Payson, the cure for the summertime blues," but in the past, my personal favorite has been "Payson, come for a day, stay for a lifetime!" I get a kick out of it, so I had to take a picture this time around.

 

The drive to Payson is So pretty. Everything was green and lovely. We've made that drive a hundred times, but I appreciate mountains so much more now that I live in a flat place. :)

 

It was so fun to see everyone! It was great to visit and catch up with every body. It's amazing how much can happen in a few months. The boys had a grand time playing basketball. Jackson of course jumped right into play with the big boys.

Jackson and Uncle Matt. Matt, Suzanne and Grace were in town from Oklahoma so I got to see them too. It was perfect timing. Little Grace has changed so much since Christmastime!

Isn't Grace the cutest? I look like a dork in this picture because I was trying to get her to smile and forgot that I was being pictured as well ;)

We have definitely got the cutest trio of cousins around. (Although I think Jackson is quite out numbered at the moment. But he can hold his own, so it's okay for now :)

Both Jackson and Madi thought they should get their turn in the walker even though Grace totally had dibbs because she can't actually walk yet... It was funny to watch them sort of battle over possession of the walker.

We decided to go on quick trip to Provo to walk around BYU campus for a while. It was fun to see it again. Campus is so pretty in the spring. I miss Provo and BYU, but after walking around with all the students I can honestly say, I sure don't miss homework-- even after a year. Hooray for being graduated!

While we were on campus I stopped in to say hi to my peeps in the Sociology department. I worked there for 5 years, (my entire BYU career) can you believe it? It was so fun to see Margaret and Renata and of course Karen Spence (pictured above.) It was their first time meeting Jackson. He was crazy active as usual, so they got a good taste of him!

On the way back from Provo we went to see Landon and Stephanie's new house. It is SOooo cute. I love it. Jackson and Madi enjoyed themselves playing in the entertainment center.

Landon brought his motorcycle back to Neil and Christa's. Isn't this such a cute pic of Matt and Suz?

I thought maybe Jackson would like the motorcycle. Nope. The engine made him nervous. He stayed on it long enough to take this picture, then he wanted off.

And this was what Jackson looked like when I pulled into Bountiful after a fun-filled day in Payson. He was totally worn out because he had such a great time. I especially like the drink shoved under his leg. He was out! Thanks for the fun visit Bushmans!
